Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 24, 2023, in Our Savior's Church - Midtown Campus for Julie Ann Haack, 77, who passed away peacefully at home with her daughters and her beloved canine companion, "Ollie", by her side on February 16, 2023. Dr. Scott Adams, Pastor of Our Savior's Church - Midtown Campus, will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery of Jennings, LA. Julie, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Otto Haack and the former Sylvia Tabor. She served as a Supervisor with Louisiana Child Protection Agency for over 30 years. Julie was a master-gardener and proud member & past-President of The Lafayette Garden Club. She LOVED working in her yard and could be found there most days. In addition, she was an avid supporter and volunteer with the Lafayette Salvation Army. Julie also provided care, comfort, and the love of God to the homeless of Lafayette through her scarf ministry, until 2020. A devout woman of God, Julie shared this love with her family and whomever she encountered. She is survived by her daughters, Keleen Harris Arnold (Michael) and Hellice M. Harris; grandchildren, Stuart Allen (Brittany), Adam Arnold (Elizabeth Cutrer), Devon Arnold, and Adrienne Arnold; great-grandson, Greyson Allen; nephew, Stuart Chisholm (Lisa); great-niece, Sara Frances Horan (Hayden); great-nephew, Drew Chisholm (Kelly); and beloved canine companion, "Ollie". She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Noah and Jacob Allen; parents, Otto and Sylvia Haack; and sister, Hope Haack Chisholm (Jack). The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Savior's Church - Midtown Campus on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Stuart Allen, Michael Arnold, Adam Arnold, Devon Arnold, Stuart Chisholm, and Wayne Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Greyson Allen.
