Funeral Services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church for Kenwood Victor Richard, 57, who passed away on July 8, 2010 at 10:10 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Reverend Thomas Voorhies, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA. Mr. Richard, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the son of the late John Harris Richard of Scott, Louisiana and Sarah Richard of Scott, LA. He is survived by his wife, Donna Doucet Richard of Lafayette; one son, Blake Richard of Lafayette; his mother, Sarah Richard of Scott; two brothers, John Edward Richard and wife Marla S. Richard of Arnaudville, and Lane Bryan Richard and wife Connie D. Richard of Hammond; two sisters-in-law, Connie D. Tate and her husband, Michael Kent Tate of Marksville, and Debbie D. Joubert of Washington; five nieces, Mary Elizabeth Richard, Kylie Nicole Richard, Shelby Sarah Richard, Bridget Joubert Marler, Ph.D. and Heather Joubert; eight nephews, Jarrett James Richard, Eric Nicholas Richard, Zachary Joseph Richard, Michael Kent Tate II, Dr. Matthew Christopher Tate, Joseph Zeb Tate, Ph.D., Ricky Joubert, and Tony Joubert. He was preceded in death by his father; Father- and Mother-in-law, Hewitt and Neva Doucet; Maternal Grandparents, Eslay and Aline Trahan; and Paternal Grandparents, Victor and Letha Billeaud. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Scott on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Edward Richard, Lane Bryan Richard, Jarrett James Richard, Eric Nicholas Richard, Zachary Joseph Richard, and Michael Kent Tate.
