Mary Grace Broussard

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church - Maurice for Mary Grace Broussard, 95, who passed away on September 2, 2024. Reverend Paul Bienvenu, Pastor, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Cemetery. Grace was a woman of deep faith and unwavering devotion. Her life was a testament to the power of love and kindness to others. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her every action and decision. She found joy in cooking and baking for her family, friends and strangers. Her door was always open. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo with anyone who wasn't scared to lose a little money. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm smile and compassionate heart. Her legacy of faith, love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. She is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones, resting in the arms of her Savior! Love you more, Mommom! Mary, a resident of Maurice, was the daughter of the late Wilton Mire and the former Theresa Granger. She is survived by her sons, Danny Broussard, and Kenneth (Julie) Broussard; 10 grandchildren, Rayna St. Martin, Tony Broussard, Dona Sonnier, Kae "Beth" Alleman, Christine Roy, Jessie Broussard, Kimberly Broussard, Lindsey Broussard, Tyler Broussard and Trista Murphy; two sisters, Joyce (Ray) Romero and Margaret Romero as well as numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edley Broussard; two sons, Jimmy Broussard and Ray Broussard, and five sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Maurice on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Friday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Pallbearers will be Burke Alleman, Kevin Sonnier, Tony Broussard, Tyler Broussard, Chance Matte, and Jessie Broussard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scottie Roy, Josh Shay, Logan Roy, and Nicholas Lane.
