PHYLLIS BRECHTEL ORTTE PRICE Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Phyllis Brechtel Ortte Price, 75, who passed away on February 17, 2009 surrounded by her family at her residence. Reverend Thomas M. Faulk, Pastor of the First Assembly of God , will conduct the funeral services. Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Price, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Samuel Brechtel of New Orleans, LA and the former Beulah Broussard of Lafayette, LA. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles Price of Baton Rouge; her daughter, Leah Ortte Armentor and her husband Richard of Plaquemine; sons, Steven Ortte and his wife Zabette of Lafayette, David Ortte, Sr. and his wife, Jeanne of Lafayette, Frederick Ortte and his wife Josie of Thibodaux, William "Billy" Ortte and his wife Dawn of Lafayette; step-sons, Daniel Price and his wife Yvette of Baton Rouge, Phillip Price and his wife, Carla of North Carolina; Grandchildren, Duncan Ortte Armentor, David Ortte, Jr., Matthew Ortte, Meghan Ortte, Bridget Ortte, Chad Ortte, Christopher Ortte, Taylor Ortte, Hailey Ortte, Lindsey Ortte Armentor, Madeleine Ortte, Lily Grace Ortte, Blake Price, Heath Price and Cole Price, Wesley Price and Sarah Price, great-grandchildren, Duncan Ortte Armentor, Jr., Chloe Armentor, Brighid Rose Armentor, Landon James Ortte, Hannah Price, David Price, Daniel Price, Leah Price and Luke Price, her sister, Rose Brechtel of Lafayette; and brothers, Neil Brechtel of Willington, Delaware and Lynn Brechtel of Rye, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 30 years, Henry Wardell Ortte, III of New Iberia and her son, Allen Jude Ortte. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 9:00pm and will resume at 10:00 am on Friday until service time at 2:00 pm. at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
